BBC Three to go offline and online-only

BBC Three (founded by the BBC) also known as the youth channel is to close, the corporation's governing body has confirmed.
The BBC Three channel launched onto the UK's TV screens 12 years ago.
The BBC Trust said that young audiences were increasingly watching television online, which signalled and gave the green light for the channel to be moved online, onto BBC iPlayer at the end of January.
It has been said by the corporation that the move will free up around £30 million a year, which they will put into the drama budget.
The BBC (British Broadcasting Corporation) has estimated that around 80% of the 925,000 viewers who watch BBC Three, and no other BBC television channel would desert the corporation.
However, to be able to retain the young viewers, the trust said that all BBC Three content would be aired on the Corporations' channels BBC One and Two when BBC Three goes off-air.
Suzanne Taverne, chair of the Trust's services committee said:
“The plans enable the BBC to deliver more distinctive content online, while bearing down on costs; to address concerns about the impact of moving BBC Three online, we have set new requirements for programmes for younger audiences on BBC One and Two.”
she also adds:
“The decision to close a TV channel is a difficult one, and one we have not taken lightly. The BBC must adapt with its audiences; the evidence is very clear that younger audiences are watching more online and less linear TV."

What do I think about this article?
In my opinion, I think the idea of moving BBC Three to BBC iPlayer permanently is good and also bad. It is good for the reason that the public will be able to watch TV online not only at home but whilst they are travelling to places such as work or school. On the other hand, not everyone has a laptop, computer or a tablet which enables them to watch TV shows/films on BBC iPlayer which may lead to a decreased figure of how many people watch BBC Three.
The description of the article is very nice. I really get the feeling that I understand why it was being closing down and what BBC's intent is. But perhaps you should include why this article was written, and why it is important to people to know, and what reasoning would the news outlet have.
