Following Friday the 13th's horrific events in Paris, Hackers known as Anonymous have declared war on Islamic State.


The group have exploited a an encrypted messaging app which hides your communication data from authorities...which is being shut down by Anonymous. The messaging app known as 'Telegram Messenger' claims that it has a 'focus on speed and security'.

Those behind the app claim it is so secure they even openly offer those who manage to decipher its messages a reward of $300,000.



Therefore because of this, the app is main target by terrorists hoping to take advantage of its high-end security measures.

However, following the terror attacks in Paris, Anonymous have declared war on ISIS which has changed everything...

The hackers have set up the hashtag #OpISIS which is currently being used on large social media sites such as Twitter to target accounts that are promoting terror attacks and using social media to recruit members to commit attacks of terrorism. It is reported that 'Telegram Messenger' is also taking action of its own alongside Anonymous.




'Telegram Messenger' have updated and tweeted to their followers on Twitter that:
'This week we have blocked 78 ISIS-related channels which functioned across 12 languages.'
They also added in a separate tweet:
'We could identify and block these public channels thanks to reports you sent to abuse@telegram.org.'

Additionally...

The Twitter Account @Op_ISIS have tweeted:

'Here at OpISIS we have a list of 500+ accounts related to ISIS and leaking soon. #OpISIS #Anonymous'
