Skyfall is a British Action/Adventure and Thriller film which was released on the 26th of October 2012 in the UK. It is certified 12A and has won two oscars for 'Best Achievement in Music Written for Motion Pictures' and 'Best Achievement in Sound Editing'. On the other hand, Kingsman (which was released on the 29th of January 2015) differs to Skyfall as it is Crime/Sci-Fi film and is certified 15, it hasn't won any oscars but has been awarded 'Best British Film' at the 2015 Empire Awards.

In terms of budget, these two films differ majorly as Skyfall has a higher budget of $150 - 200 million whereas Kingsman only has $94 million. The benefit of having a higher budget is that Skyfall was able to use various locations instead of one. These locations include Turkey, London, China, Japan and Scotland. This is similar for Kingsman, however, not as many locations were used abroad of London; only Australia and Canada.

A higher budget also means more sound effects and equipment can be used. For example, sound effects of explosions, crashes and mass destruction, use of vehicles such as sports cars and motorcycles and big machinery.
